Privacy Policy

Effective 17 July 2026. This policy explains how Joseph Driver trading as Wattlewire, ABN 47 319 253 657, handles personal information.

This policy applies to information collected through the Wattlewire website, enquiries, project onboarding, client communications, billing, hosting, support, and related services.

Information collected

Wattlewire collects information reasonably needed to respond to enquiries, provide services, operate the website, and meet legal obligations.

This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, project type, budget range, timing, project details, and information you choose to provide.

For clients, this may also include billing details, project materials, account access, technical credentials, support history, and communications needed to provide agreed services.

Google Analytics may collect website usage information such as pages viewed, device and browser details, referral source, and approximate location. Do not provide sensitive personal information through the website unless it is necessary and you are comfortable doing so.

How information is used

Wattlewire uses information to respond to enquiries, assess project fit, prepare proposals, deliver websites and web tools, provide hosting and support, manage billing, improve website performance, protect systems, and communicate about services.

Service and transactional messages may be sent where needed to respond to an enquiry, provide a project, manage hosting, or administer an account. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted by law and can be opted out of at any time.

Providers and third parties

Wattlewire may use in-house infrastructure, Vultr for backup infrastructure, Google Analytics for website measurement, Stripe for Wattlewire billing, and Resend for email delivery where Wattlewire provides that service.

A client may choose or request other providers for email, newsletters, payments, integrations, or operational services. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Personal information may be stored or processed outside Australia where a provider operates internationally.

Security and retention

Wattlewire takes reasonable steps to protect information through access controls, secured platforms, provider-level safeguards, backups, and practical administrative measures. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for service delivery, legal obligations, billing, security, backup, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after information is deleted from active systems.

Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information held by Wattlewire by emailing info@wattlewire.com.au. Identity verification may be required before a request is processed.

If you have a privacy concern, email info@wattlewire.com.au with the details. Wattlewire will review the matter and respond within a reasonable time.

Updates to this policy

Wattlewire may update this Privacy Policy when practices, services, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
